Features

Everything your family will need.
All in one place.

You don't know what you don't know. Life Account does, and walks you through it in the order that matters.

01 · LIFE INTERVIEW

A plan built for your family, in two minutes.

Ten quick questions about marriage, children, military service, home, crypto and pets turn on exactly the documents and steps that apply to your household.

The Life Interview
02 · YOUR VAULT

Every important paper, found in seconds.

IDs, insurance cards, the will, deeds and tax forms, sorted by category and by person. About 180 document types, and a clear list of what's still missing for each of you.

Identity documents in the vault
03 · SCAN IT IN

Snap it. It reads the details.

Scan a passport, license or tax form and Life Account reads the number, names and dates on your iPhone. Pick your bank or insurer and its website and phone fill themselves in. Nothing is uploaded.

04 · YOUR FAMILY

A card for each person.

Swipe through your family on Home and see what each of you still needs, from passports to wills, with the next step on top. Everyone is kept by their legal name.

05 · TO-DO

Know exactly what's left.

Vault health turns expired, unchecked and missing documents into one number. The to-do list groups them by category, so you can clear them a few at a time.

06 · REMINDERS

Never caught by an expired passport again.

Reminders arrive months ahead, timed to how long each renewal takes, and a twice-yearly check-up confirms what's still current. The lock screen never names your documents unless you choose.

Reminders for documents due soon
07 · TAXES

Stop emailing your W-2s and SSN.

A tax folder for each person and year. If your accountant uses Life Account Pro, send it end-to-end encrypted to a verified firm, see what they still need, and get the finished return back.

08 · PLAYBOOK

See how prepared you are, with guidance for every item.

One suggested step each week, critical gaps first, and plain-English answers: why it matters, how your family would claim it, and the common pitfalls.

The readiness Playbook
09 · THE HAND-OFF

A hand-off you can actually test.

Your vault key is split into three Family Key Cards. Any two open it, and a recovery drill proves your family can get in before they ever need to.

10 · SURVIVOR MODE

A calm plan for the people you leave behind.

No folders and no percentages. Just what to do next, one step at a time, with the numbers to call and the letters you left them.

Survivor Mode

Military & VA, built in

DD-214, SGLI, the Survivor Benefit Plan, DIC, burial benefits and DEERS, with the steps survivors need to take.

Encrypted on your device

Everything is sealed with AES-256-GCM before it's saved, with the key in the Keychain. No account, and we never see inside.

Face ID, twice when it counts

Unlock with Face ID or your passcode, and confirm again before passcodes, seed phrases or recovery details are shown.

Letters that matter

Write to your spouse and children, including letters marked to open at a milestone, like an 18th birthday.

Typos caught for you NEW

Each Family Key Card code carries a checksum, so a mistyped character is caught instead of silently failing.

A tamper-evident log

Every unlock, change and recovery is recorded in a chain that breaks if anyone edits or deletes an entry.

Family sharing

Owners edit together from their own iPhones. Everyone else can view now or only when needed, and every invite needs every owner's approval.

Private until needed

Keep any item, and every letter, readable only by you until the Family Key Card step, even inside a shared vault.

Verified in person

A 20-digit safety number and QR code prove a new phone really belongs to your family member, not an impostor.

Timeline

Each person's documents in date order, and the milestones ahead: a learner's permit, turning 18, Medicare at 65.

Life changes, lined up

A new baby, a marriage, a move or a new job: eleven ready-made checklists, or name your own. Steps check themselves off as the documents arrive.

Life Pass in Apple Wallet NEW

ID and insurance numbers, emergency contacts and allergies on a pass, under your legal name. It updates when your documents do.

Share safely

Send a CPA or attorney a password-protected PDF or an expiring link. Every page is watermarked with who it's for, and the key never reaches our server.

Emergency access

Someone who can't open the vault can ask. Every owner is told and can stop it: medical access opens after 72 hours, full access after 14 days.

Made for every screen NEW

iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo: two columns when it unfolds, one when it folds, and a short tour of each feature the first time you open it.

The hand-off

A key your family can actually use.

Apple's Legacy Contact passes your iCloud files to your family, but not your saved passwords or Keychain. So on its own, it can't open an encrypted vault. Life Account closes that gap.

KEY A

Legacy Package

Rides along in iCloud Drive, released by Apple to your Legacy Contact.

KEY B

Family Key Card

A printed card for your spouse or primary beneficiary.

KEY C

Your attorney

For when Apple isn't involved at all.

Any two open the vault. One alone reveals nothing.Lose a card? Re-split and the old ones stop working.
Together

Plan it together, each on your own iPhone.

Your spouse works on the same vault from their own phone and Apple ID. Adult children and your attorney can view it now, or only when it's needed. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted.

  • Every owner approves. Nobody joins until every living owner says yes, after matching a safety number or scanning a code in person.
  • View now, or only when needed. Give an adult child read access today, or let your attorney in only with a Family Key Card.
  • Private to me until needed. Mark any item private, and your letters always are. Others see it exists, but not what's inside.
  • A safe pause. If someone marks an owner as passed away, nothing changes for 7 days, and it's cancelled the moment that owner's phone is used.
  • Remove anyone, safely. The vault gets a new key, so a removed person can't read anything added afterward.
For the people you leave behind

A gentle plan, not a pile of paperwork.

Grief is hard enough. When your family opens your vault, Life Account shows them only what to do next, and tells them it's fine to wait.

  • The first days. The funeral home, death certificates, the phone passcode, and the joint account to use right now.
  • Income and benefits. Life insurance, employer benefits, Social Security and VA claims, with the numbers to call.
  • Accounts and the estate. The will, the mortgage, cards and subscriptions. There's no rush.
  • Your letters. Waiting for them whenever they're ready.
How it works

From "I should really do this" to done.

Answer the Life Interview

Ten quick questions about your household. About two minutes, and your plan is tailored to you.

Ten minutes a week

Scan a few documents or clear a few to-dos at a time. Vault health climbs, and reminders keep it current.

Hand off, then test it

Set your Legacy Contact, print your Family Key Cards, and run the recovery drill once a year.

Privacy

Your family's information stays with your family.

No sign-in, no ads, no analytics. We never see your vault. It's stored encrypted on your device, and anything that leaves it is encrypted first: the Legacy Package you create, and the links and tax folders you choose to send.

  • Encrypted when shared. Expiring links and tax folders are end-to-end encrypted. Our server only relays sealed data it can't open.
  • No tracking. No ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs that phone home.
